Wow I just made it to my personal goal of 12 hours of reading/blogging/networking time. YAY! Here how it broke down for me:
Friday read for 2 hours, blogged for 30 minutes
Saturday managed to read for an additional 2.5 hours and 15 minutes of blog time while at work. Than later in the even got and other 2 hours of reading time in evening with an additional 15 minutes of blog time, giving me 7.5 total hours of reading/blogging time.
Today (Sunday) I managed to get in a lot more reading, mainly because I could not sleep Saturday night so I read for 1 hour, before finally falling back asleep. Then an additional hour before church this morning. After church I read for 1.5 hours before I zonked out again. But finished strong with an additional 2 hours of reading this evening before my scheduled 48 hours was up. Giving me a grand total of 12.5 hours of reading/blogging/networking. Not a major record, but I'm pretty happy with that.
This evening I finished reading The London Eye Mystery. I'm so glad I pick this one up last night, it really helped me get to my personal goal. I loved the story, I just had to know what was going to happen next. Ted was a great character. I have read a few books lately with autistic characters in them: Marcelo in the Real World, London Eye Mystery, and Curious Dog in The Night time. This was a great mystery that given to the right reader, they would tear right through it. The pace of the story, keeps you turning the pages and I love that.
For the challenged I finished three books and read/blogged for 12.5 hours, good start for my first challenge. I just hope I can participate next year! This has been fun.
I also want to thank everyone who commented, thanks for the encouragement it was much appreciated, good job to everyone who participated.
